- 1 Michelin star in Catania, the youngest in Sicily
Alessandro Ingiulla, born in 1992, the youngest Michelin star in Italy and the first Michelin star in Catania, is the proof that with perseverance, a spirit of sacrifice, good teachers and a lot of study, the dream of becoming a chef can come true.
Since he was a child and every Sunday he helped his grandmother to prepare lunch and in that occasion he manifested his first passion for cooking.
After several years spent around the world, in January 2017, he returned to Sicily and opened his first restaurant "Sapio" in Catania to express the affinity between "knowledge" and "flavor", and in 2018 he conquered the his first Michelin Star.

Vietnam is currently among the most attractive F&B markets in Asia, given its population size of nearly 100 million people and its rapidly growing middle class. In 2019, the country ranked 10th in Asia. Spending on food and beverages currently accounts for the largest share in the monthly consumer spending structure.
Despite the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the food and beverage industry in Vietnam also has many strong growth opportunities. Currently, more and more consumers are paying attention to nutritional foods of plant origin, organic foods or foods with healthy ingredients.
In particular, the current European Union-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) will bring greater export and trade opportunities between European companies and Vietnamese companies in this sector.
In collaboration with Sicindustria, EEN Vietnam (CCIFV) involved several experts - French companies and entrepreneurs - who have been on the Vietnam market for more than 10 years, to share insights on the development path of this sector and their experience in Vietnam.
